Welcome to the International Wadi Farasa Project
A project study by Stephan G. Schmid, in collaboration between the Association for the Understanding of Ancient Cultures (AUAC) and the Department of Antiquities. Currently sponsored by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Cluster of Excellence 264 „Topoi – The Formation and Transformation of Space and Knowledge in Ancient Civilizations“; previously sponsored by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS), the Palestine Exploration Fund (PEF, London), Wirth+Wirth Architects (Basel, Switzerland), and Ghadeer Mineral Waters (a Nestlé Waters SA company).
